Regent Hong Kong - Harbourside, the steakhouse & qura bar

As a part of a major transformation of this iconic property BAR Studio was commissioned to upgrade the much-loved institutions Harbourside and The Steak House as well as designing an immersive new cocktail bar; Qura.

The Harbourside redesign introduces a modern aesthetic to the dining destination, which has spectacular harbour views and plentiful natural light. Providing a framework for the established buffet operation, the venue takes its cue from an eye-catching existing feature – a series of large indoor trees – to cultivate the feel of a harbourside garden.

The Steak House comprises three diverse experiences within the evening-only space. Embracing Hong Kong’s thrilling nocturnal scenes and the harbour’s neon reflections, the redesign of The Steak House restaurant brings the next level of contemporary luxury to this popular dining destination.

Qura Bar – a dedicated cocktail lounge - provides a theatrical and immersive enivronment for guests, with a series of rooms each possessing a unique design identity. These diverse spaces are anchored by a dramatic back-lit rose quartzite bar. Together the rooms create a cinematic journey of discovery, through richly layered details and decorative elements.
