Rosewood Phnom Penh

Occupying the top 14 floors of the iconic 39-storey Vattanac Capital Tower, the city’s first true skyscraper, the hotel is a serene haven with stunning city and river views.

Rosewood Phnom Penh’s design connects Cambodia’s past and present, drawing together threads of history, nature and culture in a design at the nexus of international and local, contemporary and traditional.

It’s an inspired vision of hospitality, welcoming leisure and business guests alike to a curated retreat that feels like a grand manor house despite being in the heart of the city.

Taking its cue from the country’s hot tropical climate, verdant foliage and colonial cultural heritage, the spaces of the hotel are shady and cooling, backdropped by dark timber, travertine marble and neutral tones, interlaced with the glint of brass details, smoothness of leather and shimmer of mosaic tiles.

Interiors build on this subtle framework, adding layers of bespoke furniture, fabrics, custom-designed light features, art and ornate curios. Decorative elements draw influences from Cambodian craft.

Like a well-travelled sophisticate, the hotel has a worldly personality, with its head in the air yet its feet firmly planted in this unique location. Inspiration is proudly local, embracing Phnom Penh’s traditional character, while acknowledging its outlook as a modern metropolis.
